Someecards.com
Co-Founder | Director of Copy and Content
In 2006, I co-founded Someecards.com after being unable to find an honest and compelling enough greeting card to send a friend. What started as a uniquely toned ecard site grew into one of the most widely shared and trusted brands in social media. I created and oversaw the voice of the site and managed dozens of writers and designers throughout my 12-year stay as the site expanded into original content, news coverage, and merchandise.

Impressions
I was also behind the massive growth of Someecards' social feeds, which went from hundreds to millions in a matter of months. It started when I challenged Martha Stewart to a Twitter War over who could reach 500k followers first. Martha won. Someecards got 370,000 new followers.
Branded Content
Someecards was a major innovator in sponsored social campaigns. I took the site's funny and blunt tone plus its look and feel, and meshed it with brands' messaging and campaign objectives. From premium cable shows to new coffee drinks to travel sites, brands big and small benefited from the Someecards appeal and saw their sponsored cards get phenomenal reach in social media, over and over. Clients included HBO, TGI Fridays, Microsoft, Verizon, and Warner Bros.
